Forever Bee Honey®

Bees make honey by travelling from flower to flower, removing the rich nectar. The nectar is temporarily stored in their bodies, where it mixes with their enzymes before being deposited into beehives.

Throughout the ages, honey has been recognized as a premium natural food – a storehouse of energy that is easily digestible. This great-tasting, all natural sweetener is loaded with nature’s goodness.

Easy to digest, Forever Bee Honey® is a quick and natural energy source for any occasion!

Honey contains many ingredients needed to maintain good health, including 78% sugars (glucose, fructose and sucrose), and other minerals, vitamins, enzymes, proteins and amino acids.

Forever Bee Honey contains only natural ingredients.
This great-tasting, nutritious sweetener is loaded with nature’s goodness, containing approximately 70 calories per tablespoon.

Easy to digest and rich in carbohydrates and the minerals calcium and phosphorus, Forever Bee Honey is a quick and nutritious energy source for any occasion!

  • Tastes like real honey because it is real honey.

Why Switch to Forever Bee Honey

Making the switch to Forever Honey will ensure you that the Honey is actually real honey.

Many honey products you purchase from the supermarket shelves are not real honey but a carefully crafted liquid product made by big companies to resemble the real thing.

According to the FDA (as well as the food safety divisions of the World Health Organization and the European Commission), the one test that authenticates honey is the presence of pollen. If the liquid gold doesn’t contain pollen, it isn’t honey.

76% OF GROCERY STORE TESTED “HONEY” HAD NO POLLEN IN IT!

and this is because it’s likely to have come from China, and Chinese honey is cheap, diluted with high-fructose corn syrup and sweeteners, and tainted with crazy chemicals, heavy metals and antibiotics

Forever Living Honey –  offers you a remarkable line of 100% natural bee products. Our beehives are in an ideal location where the pristine environment eliminates contaminants such as pesticides and pollutants.

We use specialy designed equipment to gather and preserve the ingredients in the condition nature intended. All our bee products – Honey, Royal gelly, Bee pollen and Bee propolis – are natural and nutritionaly rich, from the hives directly to you.

just as the honeybees have been making them for thousands of years!

ONLY THE BEST

When Rex envisioned the dynamics of what was to become Forever Living and Aloe Vera of America, one of the fundamental aspects was the ability to provide the highest quality products on the planet.

Rex’s devotion to quality has never changed nor has it been compromised. It is exactly why we will accept nothing less than 100% control of our process from planting to finished product. You’ve heard it before, but at Forever Living, “Nothing less than the best will ever do.”

And that’s just the plain and natural truth.

Forever Living demands nothing less than the most exemplary quality at every step of every process to insure the quality of all our products.

We remain equally diligent in making sure that it arrives at our manufacturing facility in pristine form.

When it comes to manufacturing our final products, you can rest assured that every single one has been just as carefully nurtured into existence with the same level of care, diligent attention and exemplary standards that we put into to every one of our so carefully tended and harvested Aloe plants.

That’s the Forever Living way – that’s the Rex Maughan way.

The fake honey practises are not only in the United States, I live in Australia and ever since I found out what really goes on in the honey market I have started viewing the honey I was buying from the supermarkets very differently.

Upon inspection of the ingredients labels, even the honey products labelled with the Australian made I noticed that almost all honey products on the shelf were derived or made with imported product. “NOT VERY AUSTRALIAN”  if you ask me.

Some History on Teeth Cleaning

Before we get into the why of using a tooth-gel/toothpaste to clean our teeth lets reflect back on some history in the arena of tooth cleaning shall we.

I have done a bit of a search around and found a couple of interesting facts

  • Oral hygiene was a top priority in society as early as 5000 BC? The world’s oldest-known formula for toothpaste was created by Egyptians
  • They crushed rock salt, mint, dried iris flowers and pepper and mixed them together to create a cleaning powder
  • Although this concoction is known to create bleeding gums, research suggests it is the most effective compared to most toothpastes used as recently as a century ago.

So from most of my research and the few facts that are around it seems we have been obsessed with cleaning our teeth. So much so that our ancestors it would seem, were happy to brave the pain of bleeding gums from the harshness of the gritting tooth cleaning processes

From all the data available to me it seems the very first T.V commercial to air was for a toothpaste called Gibbs SR Toothpaste. The commercial air in Britain on television screens in 1955 and from information sourced was a success. We sure have come along way since the old black and white tube days of commercials.

Teeth Cleaning and Toothpastes Today

Today we have a huge selection of teeth cleaners from toothpastes to tooth-gels and they all tout their benefits to your mouth.

Everything from whitening to fresh breath for hours after we brush, which logically speaking would be difficult since the moment you have a coffee or smoke a cigarette that fresh breath is long gone.

There are some other problems I have found with most mainstream toothpastes these day as well like :

  • Gritty ones – you feel like your brushing with sand.
  • Sickly sweet ones – tastes like you brushed with Fairy Floss.
  • They burn the absolute crap out of your mouth and gums

I have also noticed over the years that there really is no substitute for quality. I have tried so many different brands and even purchased some claiming to have things like aloe vera in them only to read the ingredients to see that the aloe vera is virtually non-existent – it’s the last ingredient on the list meaning it has the least amount of that ingredient in it

Forever Bright Tooth-gel

The selection of toothpates for your teeth are endless and every-one is different but after many years of trial and error I use and trust Forever Bright Tooth-gel from Forever Living Products.

There are a few qualities I look for in a toothpaste or tooth-gel. Quality is also important to me and to know it is safe and effective for the whole family to use is also on the top of my list.

With Forever Bright, I love the gentle minty flavour and smooth texture. I also found that with regular use my bleeding gums stopped and my cold/hot sensitivity was reduced.

The biggest thing that lots of people say to me who use the tooth-gel is they love how clean and smooth their teeth feel.

My family’s biggest love of the tooth-gel is it doesn’t burn the inside of their mouth.

That is why I never go past Forever Bright Aloe Vera tooth-gel. I have been using it for over 10 years now and I love it. It ticks all my boxes for what a quality tooth product should be and I love that fresh clean teeth feel.

Aloe Vera History

Aloe Vera, often called the Miracle Plant, the Natural Healer, the Burn Plant, goes by many names which have survived 4000 or so years, during which this amazing medicinal herb has benefited mankind.

George Ebers in 1865 first discovered it’s antiquity in an ancient Egyptian papyrus, dated 3500 BC, which was in fact a collection of herbal remedies. Other researchers have since found it was used by both the ancient Chinese and Indian cultures.

Greek and Roman physicians such as Dioscorides and Pliny the Elder used aloe Vera to great effect and legend suggests that Aristotle persuaded Alexander the Great to capture the island of Socotra in the Indian Ocean to get its rich supply of aloe vera plants to heal his wounded soldiers.

The Egyptian Queens Nefertiti and Cleopatra rated it highly as a beauty therapy, for in those days, health and beauty were linked far more than they ever are today.

Over 200 Species of the Aloe Plant

Although there are over 200 species of Aloe Vera, only 3-4 t have medicinal properties. Of these, Aloe Vera Barbadensis (Miller), which is also known as Aloe Vera (Linne), is the most potent.

This is also the one we use in the production of all our aloe products.

Aloe Vera Barbadensis is a succulent, looking rather like a cactus but is in fact a member of the Lily family, related to the onions, garlic and asparagus.

It reaches maturity in 4 years when the content of its leaves, a mixture of inner gel and outer sap can be harvested, preserved and bottled to produce a product that is as near to the natural aloe vera plant juice as we can get.

To benefit from Aloe Vera, the gel can be taken internally for its nutritional effect or it can be combined with other ingredients to produce topical creams and lotions to nourish and improve the quality of the skin.

Why – Where – How Aloe Vera Works

Why does Aloe Vera Work?

Aloe works by providing a rich cocktail of nutritional elements whose combined action and balance, produce a more powerful effect together, then one would expect from the addition of each individual components. This is because they work as a team, enhancing each other’s effect – this is known as synergism. It also has adaptogenic properties- which means that the different individuals take from it what they need, therefore the benefits vary from person to person.

Adaptogenic is derived from Adaptogen meaning:
Definition:  any of various natural substances that work through the adrenal glands to produce adjustments in the body to combat stress and increase resistance to stress, and which usually produce no side effects.
Example:  Adaptogens such as the herbs garlic, ginseng, echinacea, ginkgo, goldenseal, and taheebo are natural substances that benefit the body.
Etymology:  Greek adapto ‘to adjust’ and the suffix gen ‘producing’

So if I can sum up how Aloe Vera works in laymen terms it would be that, Aloe Vera is a nutritional plant that in its entirety supplies our body, when consumed internally, with the nutritional building blocks we need to function at a higher level of health and fitness. Thus in doing so enables us to heal from sickness and injury more quickly allowing our body and immune system to go about the jobs it was designed to do.

Where does it Work?

Because of its nutritional qualities and antioxidant properties, helps firstly to prevent injury to epithelial tissues-(Epithelial tissue covers the outside of the body and lines organs and cavities. Epithelial tissue helps to protect organisms from micro-organisms, injury, and fluid loss.) And when they are damaged, consuming Aloe Vera can promote healing.

Antioxidants fight the destructive “free radicals”, the unstable compounds produced by our metabolism and are found in environmental pollutants. They are thought to cause a variety of ailments including some cancers as well as contributing towards the ageing process.

An epithelium is an anatomical term defined as follows: An epithelium is a layer of cells that covers the body or lines a cavity that connects with it.

Our largest epithelium is our skin but also included are the lining of the gut, the bronchial tubes and the genital tract. No wonder Aloe Vera works just as well on damaged skin as it does on , say, an inflamed bowel or in asthma.

So How does Aloe Vera Work ?

The inner leaf gel from Aloe has proven to deliver natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial actions combined within its nutritional constituents promote cell growth and therefore increased healing rates.

However it is not only helpful for people with problems, most people taking it on a daily basis report a greater sense of well-being, they just feel better or they report feeling calmer and less anxious with more energy.

Dr Peter Atherton stated that “he believed this is due to Aloe Vera’s effect on the immune system”, which you may say becomes balanced or fine-tuned and therefore more efficient at defending the body from attacks of virus and bacterial nature.

Aloe also contains Amino acids which are used in every cell of your body to build the proteins you need to survive. All organisms need some proteins, whether they are used in muscles or as simple structures in the cell membrane. Even though all organisms have differences, they still have one thing in common: the need for basic chemical building blocks-Amino Acids

Inside the Aloe Leaf

Aloe Vera gel contains over 75 known ingredients which can be divided into the following groups

Group One

It contains a wide range, but the most important ones are the antioxidant vitamins C and E and beta-carotene, the precursor of Vitamin A. It is also one of the few plant sources in the world of Vitamin B12 – so very useful to vegetarians and vegans

These include magnesium manganese, zinc, copper, chromium, calcium, sodium, potassium and the important antioxidant selenium.

The human body requires 22 amino acids, the building blocks of proteins and Aloe Vera gel provides 22 of them. More importantly, it provides seven of the eight essential amino acids that cannot be manufactured by the body and which therefore have to be consumed as food

These include the important muco-polysaccharides which act on the immune system as well as helping detoxify the body

Group Two

Lipase’s and proteases which break down food and aid in digestion.

The three main types, act as powerful anti-inflammatory agents.

This woody substances bestows on Aloe Vera its penetrative ability to reach deep into the skin.

These are soapy substances that exert a powerful anti-microbial effect against bacteria, viruses, fungi and yeasts such as Candida or Thrush

The most important ones being aloin and emodin, together they are strong painkillers and are acknowledged to possess anti-bacterial and viruscidal activity. In their pure form they are very powerful laxatives.

Is using the Aloe Leaf Rind Beneficial

There is no real evidence to suggest the whole leaf aloe, which includes the rind but is filtered and usually concentrated, is any more effective than just the inner leaf gel or sap alone. However what is most important is the quality and quantity of aloe in the product being sold.

Unfortunately many products on the market labelled as “Aloe Vera Juice” may contain only a small amount or portion of the actual inner leaf gel.

If in doubt, look for the Seal of Approval of the International Aloe Science Council. This is an independent American regulatory body which monitors the quantity and quality of aloe in products. If their Seal of Approval actually appears on the container (not simply a claim) it is a bona fide aloe product.

Conclusion

Aloe Vera is not a panacea for all ills and there’s no magic about it.
I believe it works only in the two areas mentioned previously – epithelial tissue and the immune system.

This is largely backed up by anecdotal evidence, as many thousands of people over the centuries have reported benefit for various skin complaints such as eczema, psoriasis, ulcers, burns, acne even stings and bites.

Some people have reported they found relief for bowel disorders such as colitis, diverticulitis and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. However these are personal testimonial accounts and not yet backed up by documented scientific evidence.

Other conditions resulting from a disordered immune system such as arthritis, asthma and ME (post viral fatigue syndrome) and LE (lupus) have improved after a regular ingestion of Aloe Vera gel.

Aloe Vera therefore has a complimentary role to play in the management of various conditions. It is very important however that people should always seek the advice of their Doctor when the diagnosis is in doubt or where a condition does not improve.

Self-diagnosis can be extremely dangerous as many serious conditions can mimic more simple ones. As with any changes to your health management plan, be it exercise diet or nutritional supplements, it is always wise to consult with your doctor.

The bulk of this information has been sourced from leading experts in their field like Dr. Peter Atherton. MB. ChB. D.Obst. RCOG. MRCGP.
Qualified in 1968 at Leeds University and after six years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, he became a General Practitioner.

He is currently the Senior Partner of a training practice with a special interest in dermatology, having spent 3 years working in a dermatology department of a district hospital. This interest combined with an understanding of the power of herbal remedies gained whilst serving in the East and India led to his fascination with Aloe Vera.

How Much Aloe Vera Should I Drink

In this article I hope to help clear up some misconceptions when it comes to drinking Aloe Vera juice.

Personally I have been consuming Aloe drinking gel from Forever Living Products for many years now on a daily basis.

When I am diligent and drink the aloe gel daily, I stay healthy, have more energy and am free from colds and flu, yes your read that right, I have not had the flu in over 5 years and no I do not get the flu shot every year.

I credit my ability to skip the flu season to the nutrients within the Forever Living Aloe drinking gel that help to strengthen your immune system.

For many of these years drinking Aloe Vera juice I was a full-time Taxi driver and spent over half my day, usually evening shift from 4 pm to 4 am inside a cab, transporting all manner of people with all manner of germs from point A to point B.

On many of these trips during flu season I was directly exposed to people coughing, sneezing and breathing inside the cabin of the cab and sometimes these trips were from home to the doctors because they were sick with the flu.

As long as I was drinking my Aloe Vera juice every day I did not ever contract any flu or cold from these sick passengers.

I am not an elite athlete, super fit or taking multi-vitamins every day, my diet isn’t that great and no I am not Wonder Woman or some super hero either

How Do I Know what my Optimum Level of Aloe is ?

This is a very valid question to ask when first starting out drinking Aloe. So why is there an optimum amount and why would you even worry about that, after all it is just a juice right?

WRONG.

Aloe Vera is much more than just a fruit or vegetable juice so you need to know what your optimum amount on a daily basis is. Everyone is different and some can tolerate and need more whilst others like children need less and in my opinion we all have our optimum level.

I say optimum because all of us depending on age, current health issues and past health issues will need the right amount for our own internal body balance.

How do you know what your optimum amount will be?

Well that will vary and be up to you to know by becoming aware and in touch with your inner self. Knowing your health and what works and doesn’t work for you.

I suggest that generally speaking for most people they will only need to consume between 50-100 mls a day for an adult and 5-50 mls for a child depending on the age of the child and so forth.

Dr. Peter Atherton is regarded as one of the world’s experts in the field of Aloe Vera’s medical properties. In this video he shares his view on how much aloe to have each day.

Why Only Drink a Certain Amount Of Aloe Juice Daily?

Well as I said above Aloe Vera is not just a juice per-say and most of the time it is thicker then juice as it generally comes from the inner leaf of the Aloe plant which is more like a gelly substance. The reason you do not consume it like a juice, cordial or water is because of the powerful properties the Aloe gel contains.

Aloe Vera detoxifies the internal intestine in your gut cleaning out all the built up rubbish caught in your villi from years of consuming processed foods and high fat, high sugar diets.

Opened bottle of Forever Aloe drinking gel

Drinking Aloe has a natural cleansing effect on the gut.
Aloe Vera contains over 200 vitamins and minerals
Aloe Vera has the natural ability to reduce inflammation and pain inside the body
Aloe Vera is known to help the body regenerate healthy new cells.

So because of detoxification properties of aloe, consuming too much on a daily basis will generally cause the need to go to the toilet on a more frequent basis. When the Aloe juice has worked it’s magic on the inside and cleared these stubborn toxins you will find your optimum amount on a daily basis will be somewhere in the range of 50-100 mls.

Your optimum amount daily will assist in reducing problems from bloating and you will just have a generally sense of wellness and energy.

If you are drinking too much each day you will pass loose stools more than once through the day and you could possibly suffer symptoms like cramping and nausea.

I know this sounds disconcerting but as in anything you consume orally, if you overdo it you will suffer some effects of that overconsumption in some way shape or form.

Once you find the right balance your absorption of nutrients, vitamins and minerals will be more efficient, giving your body more of what it needs for a healthy immune system which will help in the prevention of colds and flu.

Whatever you do, respect yourself, your body and start living for a healthier you today.

The Truth about Aloe Vera

You have reached for aloe when you spent too much time in the sun. You’ve seen Aloe listed as an ingredient in many of your personal care products. It’s always been there. Simple, trusted and recognised the world over.

There’s a reason Aloe Vera gel is trusted in products you see every day and that reason dates back thousands of years. The earliest civilizations revered this extraordinary botanical for its astonishing properties. Its legendary uses have been passed down through time, enhanced by scientific innovation and centuries of experience.

The earliest written description of Aloe Vera’s medicinal properties was found cached between the knees of an Egyptian mummy dated from the year 1550 BC. In the 4th century, aloe was used by the soldiers of Alexander the Great to restore their strength and heal their wounds.

Aloe Vera’s beautifying effects were made legendary by Egyptian queen Cleopatra’s use of the plant to keep her skin looking young and beautiful.

The record of aloes historical uses is lengthy and spreads around the world, from the 12th century German medical records to the Compendium of Materia Medica from the Chinese Ming Dynasty. With such a long and documented history of it’s benefits and uses there is no denying the power of this simple little plant.

Let Aloe surprise you as it:

  • Cleanses your digestive system
  • Infuses you with energy
  • Protects skin from free radical damage
  • Promotes skin’s natural healing
  • Is the only vegetarian source of vitamin B12
  • And so much more

You probably know aloe to be a cooling botanical that soothes burns and other skin irritations. While soothing burns is one of aloe’s amazing abilities, there’s so much more to aloe.

As a succulent plant that thrives in even the driest of deserts, aloe’s graceful sword-like leaves are filled with hundreds of nutritional compounds and life-sustaining moisture that benefit the body on the inside and out.

Forever Living Products has harnessed the power of aloe and developed a complete line of nurturing products based on 100% pure aloe vera gel.  Harvested by hand from our own plantations and immediately stabilized for purity, our aloe nourishes your body—inside and out—with products ranging from age-defying facial treatments to delicious, antioxidant rich drinks.
